User:Shantaro
How do I remove the "User:" from the front of my name in the Characters area?
- You don't. User:Shantaro is you, not your character. You should make a separate article for every one of your characters. For example, User:Shalkis is me, and Shalkis is my character. This allows you to have multiple characters properly categorized. --Shalkis 23:16, 14 November 2006 (CET)
Adding a Story (how to create a new article)
It's not obvious how I should create a new article. Could someone walk me through the process? I've got a story that's nearly 60 pages long that I'd like to post, but I can't figure out how to create a new article. You'd think there would be a "new" button...
- Go to the address bar and type in the article name you want to occupy. ex. "www.wowrp.com/wow/My story name here" this should take you to the address "www.wowrp.com/wow/My_story_name_here" then click the edit link in that empty article. You can also add a link to the story from your name space and then click on the red link you get ex. [[My story name]] Eluna (T/C/e) 09:12, 17 November 2006 (CET)</dd></dd></dd>

Adding a character
How do I add my in-game character to the database of WoWRP? I've poked around everywhere but I just can't seem to get a hang of it. Either I'm missing something or I'm just too thick to understand it all. Any help is appreciated.
- A character page is like any other wiki page. The main difference is the profile template used. To use it, simply paste this to the beginning of your page:
{{Profile
| image =
| name =
| gender =
| race =
| class =
| faction =
| guild =
}}
- Then fill out the information for your character into the template. If you are not in a guild, just put Unguilded as your guild. You can also leave the image field empty if you don't have a suitable one available. The profile will add your character's page into the appropiate categories, so it shows up on Category:Characters, for example. The only category you have to specify manually is the server your character is in. For example, I'm playing on Defias Brotherhood (EU), so Shalkis' page is in the category [[Category:Defias Brotherhood (EU)]].

How do I add the contents box to my page?
After looking at some of the pages of others, I see that there are some contents boxes, how do add these to the pages?
- The content box is added automatically when you add sections to your page. Sections are made like this: == Section Name ==

I've added the sections to my page but I'm still not getting the contents box.
- Hmm.. I see a contents box at Lithius Syth'Arath's page. I think you should check whether you have table of contents enabled at Special:Preferences.

Profile Template
Could this be amended to have a solid background? As it stands, any underlining from subject headings cuts through the box and looks unsightly. For now I've got around this by inserting several carriage returns after it so that the first subject heading appears below the profile instead of alongside it however it would be nice for the page content to wrap around the profile box, as I believe it's intended to.
