Unclosed UL tag in main page
There's an unclosed UL tag in the Toolbox. That might be the reason why the site looks crappy, at least on IE 7. --Shalkis 23:50, 8 November 2006 (CET)

Hello Eluna! --Kyawa 17:32, 9 November 2006 (CET) SysOP? *Shrug*
SysOP?
Well.. Um.. Is this the right place to get this stuff? *Shrug*

Hello I am Marlamin, i wish to help with the site by being a sysop.

Parser functions?
Is there any way to enable parser functions for this wiki? I have a problem with the broken category links when using the Profile template for unguilded characters, and the parser functions would be the most elegant solution. Currently, unguilded characters have to set their guild to None to fix their character pages. --Shalkis 12:11, 23 November 2006 (CET)
Ugly Gallery!
Hi Eluna, I really hate the way you've made my pictures section on Stormina Teacup look. I can understand wanting to make things look uniform but honestly, it looked far better using the old code. Do you agree / disagree? Can I change it back without offending you? Stormina 18:36, 13 December 2006 (CET)
We ought to add a forum, I think.
I think the site could use a UBB-style forum in addition to the Wikimedia software. One good example of a site with a similar dual nature (Wiki and Forum) is DiyAudio.com. The forum generates the traffic and the interest, and then forum members edit the Wiki as well, for a more holistic approach to community development. This forum would have an advantage over Blizzard's own RP forum, in that it could offer separate forums for rookies and more experienced RPers, with standards of writing and conduct to be enforced more strictly in the experienced-RP forum. And, of course, there would be forum categories for other stuff, too. -- Tarlach
Talk page etiquette
In my opinion, it's somewhat rude to remove stuff from other users' talk pages. In addition, it would be nice if people could sign their comments (the signature button is the next-to-last in the toolbar). Signatures make it easier to see who said what and when. --Shalkis 19:31, 21 December 2006 (CET)
Response
Can't you just make users have to validate their e-mail address before being able to edit? Would help more than have a SysOp. I would love to be a SysOp, still I don't think I'm up for it if you know what I mean. --Blaze 10:49, 13 July 2007 (CEST)
Greetings, O' Great Sysop!
Now that the shmoozing is out of the way, I thought that I'd stop by, say hi, and leave my mark. Also, I'm offering my services to help out the site if there's something that needs touched up. Assign me tedious little tasks to occupy my time and get me out of your hair - while getting things done! I didn't see any articles that clearly said THESE THINGS SHOULD BE DONE IN THE FUTURE and nothing specific was noted in the Village Pump. Nor did I note any community groups in which to participate, so I thought that going to the source might be the best course. Feel free to reply here if there's something to be said and it's easier; I've tagged this page for watching. -- Cynra (T·C) 18:25, 17 August 2007 (CEST)
Special Case: Last Stand?
Eluna! Why don't we show up as a Guild on Defias Brotherhood. All this crazy stuff confuses me and Last Stand doesn't have a category, so I had to add a manual link on the Last Stand page. If only you had powered this Wiki on rum like I told you instead of this new fangled goblin technology! ---Smee 15:45, 20 August 2007 (CEST)
Main page
Eluna, I've put together a possible change to the main page on my sandbox that would showcase one character profile and maybe highlight a server. There are two basic layouts: one that is a single table with the two side-by-side and another where they're separate tables. Let me know what you think. I still need to change a couple of things and flesh it out, but it's an idea and I was just tweaking one day.
I like the idea of showcasing a server because it would allow people to know what other servers are doing (and maybe generate new ideas for events). We'd have to chose some method of selection that's fair (maybe rotate through the list every two weeks?), but that's if we go with the idea. Also, nominations for character articles would be a good idea. I just threw up one I found and liked when I first joined.
Still a-working on getting peoples to the site. Maybe I'll be able to snag some after our big world PvP event Friday. It's a long weekend, so I'll have time between weekend raiding to get some things done. -- Cynra (T·C) 16:09, 30 August 2007 (CEST)
WYSIWYG Editor?
Hello Eluna! I've been away for a while, like the new Main Page, good job Cynra!
Now I noticed one thing with another wiki that was driving members away... The Editor! Some people think it's hard to edit pages without messing them up. So why don't you install a WYSIWYG editor? Maybe that will attract a bit more members? Blaze 23:34, 1 September 2007 (CEST)

Brief absence
Eluna, I'll be attending an industry conference this week in Vegas, which means that I'll be away from the comfort of my home and regular access to the 'net. As a result, the likelihood of my being on the site this week is pretty low. Furthermore, the mobo on my old PC died this past week, so I'm in the process of transitioning/building a new one. The parts should be at the house in time for my return, so I intend to be online sometime Saturday. Take care and I'll hopefully be back around then! -- Cynra (T·C) 13:17, 10 September 2007 (CEST)
- Just a brief addendum! I made it safely to Vegas and I'm sadly unimpressed. That said, I do have occasional access to the internet, though I probably won't be on often since most of my time is taken up by either the conference or sightseeing (supposedly we're chartering a helicopter to fly over the Grand Canyon tomorrow! Squee!). I'll probably log on once or so a day, just to check things out and harass you further. Also, my dearest sibling built my new PC from all of the parts that I ordered while I was gone - and without my prompting! - so I'll be back on my regular schedule come Saturday. Thanks for the well wishes! -- Cynra (T·C) 03:37, 12 September 2007 (CEST)
Forums?
Let's use them! Good sir Zul'fan made a couple of good suggestions and I think it would be great to start implementing some. I think it would be a great thing to help entice people to spend more time here, rather than make a few edits over the course of a day or two and then disappearing completely. Promote communication! Promote happiness! And, dammit, I'm eager to engage in some online written roleplay with people from other servers - without relying on the official roleplaying forums. They scare me there... -- Cynra (T·C) 01:46, 26 September 2007 (CEST)
Welcome back!
- or I assume we're back! It's an absolute pleasure to see the site back up; I was wondering what had happened and only stumbled across this site again by chance when I clicked a link. <salutes> -- Cynra (T·C) 14:27, 14 December 2007 (CET)
- I was slow in replying because I'm lazy. And horrible. And too busy chatting it up with fellow Feathermooners (they do exist!). And I forgot. Anywho, what can be done to restore pictures on the site? The errors are a bit sad to see and we had some awesome pics on the site before whatever happened that took it down. -- Cynra (T·C) 19:06, 12 March 2008 (CET)
