Featured characters

When making the original main page layout, I chose Kozgugore to fill the slot because he epitomized - to me - a good character article (and I lacked the hubris to use one of mine, even though it was just a tested layout!). It was clear, concise, interesting, well-written, and included graphics that enhanced the presentation rather than detracting from it. However for future featured characters we might want to make some sort of standard for selection, devise a method of selecting those articles, and also figure out a way for people to nominate future featured characters to better involve the community and help people work towards having a featured character.
