Xantippe Shadowlock is a friendly and loyal Gnomish Lady, despite the fact of her being a Warlock. Although she might have a dark sense of humour at times, and often sets things on fire by accident, she's mostly a pleasant person to be around.

• Marital status: Married to Jesan Oyasha Widowed state
• Occupation: Leader of The Silver Rose
• Languages: Common, Gnomish and Demonic (the latter is mostly just used to manage her demons)
• Likes: Knowing things, travelling, helping people out
• Dislikes: Felwood*, Imps (and their nagging), high chairs
• Nickname(s): Xanti, a.k.a. the Chicken Lady
  The nickname 'Chicken Lady' finds its origine with an accident in a demonic summoning ritual (*which happened in Felwood). Instead of whatever creature that was supposed to come to her and her team's aid, a gigantic black chicken arose. It would've been utterly hilarious, if the chicken hadn't nearly killed them all.

Personality

Xantippe usually thinks before she acts. Though, she's known for her untamable curiousity, which has lead her into trouble more than once. She has become more confident after she's returned from the lone journey she'd recently made.
She's mostly caring and forgiving, and always has some witty remarks ready. You can't say she hasn't inherited the typical Gnomish intelligence, although she knows nothing of engineering -she does manage to blow things up however.
Often cheery and funny, Xantippe is almost never seen angry, if fights against evil-doers don't count. But her lack of height seems to force her to catch the attention by threatening to burn something, or someone - they are mostly just empty threats however, she doesn't have the heart to actually carry them out.

A noticable thing might also be Xantippe's shadow, which seems to live its own life, casually attempting to sneak away or taunting its owner.

Appearance

At first sight, she looks to be quite normal and doesn't emmediately draw one's attention - which is actually a bit strange as Gnomes are often quite eccentric.

• Height: Slightly shorter than most of her fellow Gnomes
• Hair: Dark brown, it's said to be so long she'd trip over it. But it's always seen tied into two buns.
• Eye color: Bright green. When angered however (which rarely happens), they might give off a fel green glow.
• Other Features: Always wears a strangely glowing gem together with her old silver wedding ring on a necklace, for safe keeping.
  The gem is called the Stone of Lost Souls, which captures souls, but only on Xanti's demand. The Stone is also one of the reasons she hasn't been corrupted (yet?).

History (Summarized)

Way in the Past

Xantippe Shadowlock was indeed born in Gnomeregan, but hasn't seen much of the wondrous technocity seeing as her father (Yrus Shadowlock) took her on his expeditions all over Azeroth at a very young age already. Her mother (only reffered to as Lady Shadowlock,since saying her true name could Silence you forever,or so they say) however, was a talented Warlock and soon delved too deep into those Dark Arts, erasing her common sense and compassion. The wicked warlock, that her mother turned out to be, then joined forces with the Shadow Council. Trying everything in her power to draw the young and promising Xantippe to their dark side. And she nearly succeeded at that, having Xanti's father and guardian Yrus drained from his magical powers (he was a Mage) and locked up in a by Undead guarded prison, impossible to locate. Xantippe was then taught how to bend the shadows to do her bidding by her mother, and thus she became a Warlock.
But when receiving the Stone of Lost Souls, her mind seemed to become more clear as the captured souls spoke to her about her mother's horrific plans of destroying all that lives. Xantippe fled, vowing to herself to only use her knowledge of the shadows for the greater good. And hoping to one day be able to stop the Council. However she carried a curse when walking away from her mother, that whenever she or anyone else would try to defeat or kill her, Xanti herself would die aswell.

Finding, Founding... and Losing Again

Ofcourse the attempts of the wicked Lady to get her daughter back to her side never ceased. But Xantippe got to know Jesan Oyasha, who helped her in any way possible. Later, they married and even expanded the family with their son Jarno. They kept eachother off the 'wrong path' and lived through many adventures. Together they also founded The Silver Rose, an organisation that pursuits the goal to aid those in need of it, like they did for eachother.
However their happiness wouldn't last, Jesan got severely ill and on a dreadful and rainy day he ended his suffering with a flaming blade.

Current Affairs

Currently, it would seem that Xantippe has got her act together again, even after a failed betrothal. She dodges the rumours about a new relationship she'd possibly have gotten into.
Spends most of her time with her friends and the Silver Rose.
Her adventurous times are far from over, her curiousity will always lead her to places unknown, her fickle shadow and her son, too, seem to be causing trouble nowadays...
